    Default Beaver Pond Leveler

Not the best time of year to do it....but it's going to get done in the next couple weeks.

This is going to be used on the main dam of a 10ac beaver pond

Anybody built off the Clemson plans?

Any additional or substitute materials you would recommend?

Any dimensions, diameters, etc you would change on the plans?

Best place to get all the supplies not running all over town? How about this Pipe Etc sponsor?

I built it last year. I believe same specs, except I didn't use the 160 PSI grade roll pipe. That shit was expensive.

YoungBuck - thanks for the info on the pipe.

    Best place to get materials?

    Estimated cost once complete?

I believe Lowes trip was 100$. A friend of mine works at a plastic fab shop in the upstate. He gave me the pipes, reducer, extra coupling for adding length, cap, and elbow to make the 'riser'. He may be able to contribute to your project also, if you're willing to cover cost of materials. PM me if needed.

You should've killed that beaver when you had the chance.

I needed a test subject... He died soon after. That said, the plan is coexistence, with population control. They maintain the dam, and cut down scrub trees for me.

Got her set in place this weekend....everything was working as expected.

Didn't quite build it to specs....left out the internal hoop structure on the intake portion and doubled up on the wire, went with sewage pipe, felt strong, we'll see how it goes.

I have about $120 into the project.
