As far as the Avery jackets, one of the guys I hunt with got one in a medium and he wears a medium. Got enough room to layer as well.
hope its the originals...the blades and fusion crap is terrible...

This is what they're advertising online so I'm assuming this will be what they use.

Dad got me one for Christmas and I wore it in Louisiana a couple of weeks ago. It did its job.

I wear a large, plenty of room for layers

You really did dick up his thread. He is just wondering about fit and your post immediately questions his purchase and starts a conversation about how a person should spend his own money.

I have one of the jackets, haven't worn it yet and it's 12 hours away. Also have one of the waxed vests, I have worn that. I usually where an XL, the vest is an XL and it's loose on me, but not enough to where it's a bad thing. I wore it with a fleece underneath and had plenty of room.

True, But it's got fleece lined chest pockets.

Side note jacket is true to size and fits well. Comes broken in too which is nice.

I found my favorite pants Armor Men's Storm Performance Field Pants after reading a very good review article https://under-the-open-sky.com/best-hunting-pants/. Therefore, I completely agree with you that the brand isn't everything. I advise everyone to read it.

Well since the Avery Heritage brand is headed by the fellow that was in charge of McAlister, it should fit similarly as its design is pretty close to the same.

No I'm questioning myself in that statement.
