Thread: tater' salad?

    Trying to find a recipe for "sour cream tater salad". Redskin potatos, kind of chunked, with mainly sour cream and some "stuff" in there.

    Any of you Cola folks will know what I'm talking about if you eat at N. Main Deli on occasion.

    Anybody have any ideas?

    can't go wrong if you add some purple onions diced and stone ground mustard. that's about all i add.

    of course, fishwhistle would put bacon in there too.......

    Old whistler puts bacon on top of friggin' bbq.

    I've got the the finest peppercorn crusted 'poke tenderloin I've ever laid eyes on slow cooking on the Holland right now. About 22 minutes on the heat, 5 minutes to let it rest, then slice and eat....7:27 it'll be ON

    No tater salad recipe, so it looks like wild rice and a spring salad.

    i do use sour cream with the other stuff i mentioned. was not very clear on that.

    hunk the potatoes, boil them
    while boiling put a couple of diced green onions in the water
    add salt and pepper to taste
    boil till water is almost gone
    add sour cream
    mix instant potato flakes to the remaing water and sour cream
    remove to bowl, cover and chill
    Fetch em up !!
