Default Serious question for USuC fans, what is Muschamps $$$ deal

While I could not see Muschamp leaving SC, really think he is doing a good job and has them headed back to where they were

BUT we all know this day and age it boils down to WHO will pay me the most

What is his contract and buyout, client of mine is Tennessee alum and made comment that Muschamp's name has been thrown around and that they could pay him a lot more . THis I doubted but just kept my mouth shut . Hell this guys is delirious enough to think Saban would consider UT

Frankly to me that would be more of a lateral move and not worth the trouble

I am still thinking Petrino will be hot name up there for some reason IF they want to deal with the baggage

Leave USC to go to Tennessee? Why would anyone in his right mind consider that? Wait....

Have you seen how shitty Florida is? With Miami being back I think it's going to be a tough gig.

He makes a base of 3mil per yr with incentives probably 3.75....

    Buyout is huge...7mil in 2016 6mil in 2017...drops 1mil each yr

He also still gets paid by Florida. Bet that stings for some down there after Saturday. I'd imagine he woke up smiling a little bigger Sunday.

Ohh and he isn't going to Tennessee.

Tennessee isn't hiring Muschamp or Miles or any other bullshit coach this time.

There are more D-1 recruits within 80 miles of UF than in the entire state of Tennessee or South Carolina combined. That's not to say that I am arguing one way or anther on what is a better job, but recruiting footprint matters and always have. Some schools will always have an inherent advantage because of their location.

    Y'all hiring Fulmer back Peaches?
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Tenn and Florida will have to settle for up and coming young coaches or established Coordinators.

Both programs (with thier turnover/quick triggers) will scare off alot of really good coaches.

The only 2 names that need to be on UTs list are Chip Kelly and Mike Gundy.

Chip Kelly would be exciting. Dan Mullen would also be a good hire. Both would win and at a high level.

Tennessee will end up hiring Gruden and pay him 10 million a year to win 8 games. That’s my prediction.

Hiring Gruden would be an absolutely awful decision.

Muschamp wouldn't give UT a second thought. He just got through dealing with a shitty fan base.

Did y'all see all the Florida players and assistant coaches come over and hug Muschamp after the game?

It would be an unknown with a ton of money involved for sure. He would sign some insane recruiting classes but who knows after that.
