Damn what a bunch of winnies
It's called chicken bog, because that's what it is....Chicken Bogged in Rice.
City folks will call it Chicken and Rice which is completely different.
A bog is served wet, but not soupy.
Chicken and Rice is dry with the chicken mixed with cooked rice.
A bog usually has other stuff, celery, sausage, onions, smoked neckbone, etc added.
    Fetch em up !!

This forum is not the appropriate place to engage in this type of petty debate. If there is something said in here that you disagree with, bite your tongue and take your bullshit elsewhere.

    Hey Drylok,

It is REAL simple. Cook a couple of pieces of bacon, then brown an onion, cut up chicken (turkey, fish, etc), add 1/2 can chicken broth, add about a pint of catsup and let cook for 30 minutes. Cut up a potato and let cook for 30 minutes. You can add more catsup or tomaot paste to your taste. Oh yeah, put some worchestershire in there too. When it looks and tastes right, put it over rice.
