    Quoting myself from early October in the Imma Dawg Fan This Week thread. "I have an advanced degree from UGA but have never really cared for them. However, they were absolutely amazing Saturday. Keep up the good work and they will be seeing us in the BCS showdown."

    Edit: just looked it up the #1 seed has never won the college football playoff.

    Let's say Georgia and Bama go undefeated and play for the SEC championship and Bama gets beat. Do they drop out the top 4????

    If 3 4 and 5 win out. Whever loses in atlanta will drop out of top 4. Which would be great to see notre dame stay in and geoegia out after georgia beat them in week 1

    Glad you were right! I think UGA will be 3 and will face Oklahoma. Clemson will get Bama or Ohio State. That would open the door to a natty game between Clemson and UGA which would be awesome.

    That seems rational to me. But we'll see what the committee decides.

    ETA: My dad has the same split loyalty as you Zephyr, but he is the same. He bled Orange and purple before he bled red and black.

    Clemson Bama will be another good one.

    Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

    I went to Wofford for undergrad and they whooped Furman yesterday. Good little team.

    And I would go abso-freaking-lutely nuts if Clemson and UGA faced off in the final.
