Pick the truck I should get
I'd go with a full size truck man!
Good to talk, see you out there!

Definately stay away from the Colorado! I'm a Chevy man, but that new 5 cyl. engine sucks!! No horsepower or torque!!
if you want a midsize truck that is very reliable , get a toyota . It is sad and true that American made trucks ( midsize ) are less dependable than the others . The 2005 tacoma is a bigger truck with more hp than the earlier models . You cant go wrong with a toyota for a dependable truck .
As much as I would like to buy something else, I was forced to buy a Toyota. I got tired of all the maintenence on GM/Ford.

trucks are like women;
there's no perfect one so just pick one that works hard, looks good and won't leave you on the side of the road.
Oh, and get the smallest one that'll do the job for ya.
I did alot of research and just bought a Nissan Titan. If you don't at least test drive one you are doing yourself a great disservice. If you aren't impressed after test driving a Titan, you should have your head checked!!lol. Drive em' all and get the one you like...
At least I'm housebroken.
In a small truck I would go with the tacoma hands down. The new body style is sharp and they will last forever. Toyota's have great resale value as well.

the only vehicle American made that will hold its value over time is a Harley . I don't have one . I know you can sell one a year or two old for the same price as new if in good condition . I am only speaking about vehicles here . Other things are much different .
Just a little pot-stirring in the truck world:
A Nissan Titan won second place at LaPaz (Baja 1000) in the stock truck category. A stock Titan beat out all the others, with the exception of a well driven H1 Hummer. GET DOWN, Nissan!!

The Japs bombed Pearl Harbor now you going to go by the #1 export from them?

Just say no to American disposable vehicles...

I know what routine maintenance will do for one.
More fuel = more boost!!
A Chevrolet that is taken care of will last much longer than 70K miles. You would have to really neglect or abuse one to have major problems that early. I just sold a '95 3/4 ton with 185K miles on it and I NEVER had any major problems with it. I did have to occasionally replace something minor like an alternator, but not very often. I can't say as much for the last ford that I had though, it was a piece of junk.
