*BlACK ClOUD*

Check out the shape of this FliteStopper steel shot. It has a 'cutting edge'.

    The FliteControl wad.

    The Storm Has Arrived

Like a storm rolling through the plains, the new Black Cloud™ load from Federal Premium® Ammunition is redefining the sport of duck hunting. This top of the line steel has the proprietary FLITESTOPPER™ design to cut on impact for more devastating penetration. With this kind of technology locked and loaded, there's a better chance you'll be dropping ducks from the sky every time out. One hunt and you'll know the Black Cloud reign has begun.

    Get it there faster

FLITECONTROL™ features a unique and patented wad design that stays with the shot longer, keeping patterns tight and velocity high. Its rear-braking technology turns traditional wad design 180-degrees to fire a controlled release of high velocity FS Steel™ staged with Premium® steel for the most pellets on target. Get to your target faster at 1450 fps.

Everything I have read and heard about the Flite Control wad is favorable... the shot itself, time will tell....

Saw this stuff at the SHOT Show. There is a lot of newish non-tox stuff on the horizon, if the Chinese don't buy all the metal.

I was not overly impressed with it on the first few shots- but I was on the last few birds shots- I would give it a favorable 8.3 at the moment- I still have a few boxes- I am still not sold on the price difference between them and KENT- KENT at the moment will be in the shopping basket next trip unless I see lots more ducks fold up like a pair of my underwear on its way off my foot into the laundry hamper

All I got to say is no cripples so far this year.......and I shot a plenty of ducks in Arkansas the first season so far. It was deadly and the shot distance was about equal with Kent. When we cleaned the ducks you could tell if I or the Rookie shot the duck over the others using Kents because of the tore up flesh (marinade holes).

I was with the guy that morning and I definately didn't see anything impressive about the shells. It took 3 3.5" # 3 Blackclouds to kill off a crippled woodie at 30 yards. I can't see spending the extra 5 or 6 bucks a box from my experience.

I'm just saying that the blackclouds didn't do the job despite the size. He didn't miss the cripple waterswattin it. I think they're just a bunch of hype.

I saw him hit the daggum woodie 3 times. He didn't miss it. Maybe they work and the catawaba just breeds the offspring mutant woodie cousin of Chuck. I know that the kent fasteel has yet to have a problem laying them out.

PT Barnum couldn't have done a better job marketing it. I bet they could triple their sales if they renamed it Duck Death or Mallard Mauler...

Water swatting is a fine art. You don't aim right at him dummy, you aim high where the bottom of the load sprays their head.

    ps.
    Your tattoo is still backwards.
