Anybody have one of these or can tell me if this is a good one. I found a good deal on one but have not done alot of research on them. I am upgrading from a nissan 4x4. The truck only has 40000 miles and is loaded. Thanks for any advice.

Depends on the price. I believe in 97 they changed body styles in the F150 line up. Its a fairly new truck and if it has been kept up it will be an improvment over the nissan 4x4, unless your refering to the Titan. Quackaddict is right, its tough to kill a toyota. It all depends on the condition of the truck and how the previous owner kept it. You might want to check out www.Kbb.com for used prices.

I think this is a 4 station truck, meaning you can pass about 3 gas stations before you will have to stop at the next to filler'up. It will be a gas guzzler, Pick up a 2nd job at the Scotchman (3rd shift) cause I already got the 2nd, to offset added fuel cost.

I have the same truck.I like it..all except the gas mileage..but then it's 4 wd..mine has 39700..I only use it to hunt & tow my duck boat..I have a company car w/ free gas, thus the low mileage..THE TRUCK NEVER HAS BEEN BACK TO THE DEALER..IT HAS BEEN TROUBLE FREE..It's detailed twice a year & looks new..For what they want for a new one..I'am keeping mine.
