    I busted the prop on our 2005 25hp Merc. yesterday. I hoped the propeller was the only thing damaged, but when I slid it off the shaft, the splines were visibly "twisted" and there was oil in behind the propeller.

    How big of a job is this to replace? Has anyone done this themselves? I will most likely take it to the dealer it was bought from, but I'd like to hear what y'all have to say.
    I don't need my name in the marquee lights....
