When it gets here, it's going to be hot and miserable.

I wish it was. I hope there are some mornings this September cool enough for a hoodie

You are probably going to have to try Maine, or upwards of there...

I think NB is typing about shooting something. In mid to late August I think more about doves, get excited I should say. I fucking love summer, and I'm a grown up. The heat doesn't bother me. As soon as that last day of duck season rolls out i am ready sun.

I love the summer myself. I killed one of my best bucks to date on August 15. It was 104 degrees when I got back to the truck to load him.

cold beer negates any worries about heat on a September dove field.

Oh I do. Still in my top three favorite things, and I'm donned in khaki.

I do not recommend going hunting in a hoodie. Law enforcement will bust a cap in you quick like if wear a hoodie. Hell, its America....wear what you want to. If the gw's show up just do what I do and quickly gather up your empty shells and beer cans walk inside the wood line. Once they walk by your spot checking people come back out and start hunting again.

I always give my neighbors to the left and right of me a courtesy "oooooh ooooh....game wardens just rolled up" shout. Most of the time they just sit there but I hit the bushes. I hate even talking with those motha fukers.

Nick, it's sporting clay season year round. Let's go shoot one Sunday afternoon.

Oh, I still have that deer stand for you too.

Do you ever go back when you are sober and read any of the stuff you type?

I know the feeling. I'm not going to wish my life away so I'm glad for all the summer things that I get to get between now and September.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.
