Default Getting shot while turkey hunting

The shot happens at the 2:09 mark if you want to fast forward.

    The video description reads:

Published on Apr 15, 2017: We are posting this video to remind people to always know what you are shooting at and also to know what is behind your target. In this particular incident we are calling to 2 gobblers that are located in front of us when somebody sneaks in behind us and shoots through us and hits US and drills our decoy. Please be careful everybody

I saw the video on Facebook. One of the comments on it said the guy who shot was across a fence shooting onto someone else's property. But I don't know if that's true or not.

That is fake as hell! If someone had really stung them with pellets they would have dumped all their shells back at them! I heard no cussing so I know for a fact that is fake!

There is some retards out hunting. My friend from NC who I hunt with on a yearly basis was shot in the head last year at 30 yards with lead 5's in Florida and had over 20 5's lodged in his skull. How he survived is a miracle. He was just running a call on private land. No decoys or fans or anything. He still has 9 embedded. The guy shot him at an angle or it probably would have killed him.

I see your dealer made it back to town.

Thousand wonders it doesn't happen more often. One dipshit could be anywhere in the woods, public or private.

I've been shot in a dove field before. When it is close enough to draw blood, "losing your shit" is no where in your mind. At least not in the first minute or two. There is a reason it is referred to as "hot lead." My dad still has some shot in his face from getting shot in a dove field 25 plus years ago. He had the "pleasure" first. I didn't fully understand why he said he now knew why a deer trys to run to water after being shot. After my incident, I fully understood.

we've gotten to the point of fake news that we cant help but think everything is staged. I guess I'm old and dont think that way....and cant help but wonder "who would go to all the trouble to set something like that up to be fake?"

    seems real enough to me.
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.

    The Grenoble shooting incident(s)

For those that haven't been around as long, Shirley Grenoble was involved with Quaker Boy game calls as one of their first
"Pro Staffers" ( and first female) and was also on the board of the NWTF. Quite the accomplished ambassador of the sport in the '80s.

Her son was shot in the face while Turkey hunting, and life fllighted.. Her turn came soon after.

Please be careful out there. Cottontwat, please turn in your firearms..
