It is weird this subject came up today. My sister in law's best friend's husband is 38 and died today from strep A. His organs shut down and then he went on life support. Crazy!

What an uplifting story! I was feeling down about life before, but this story made me realize we could all be quadruple amputees from a sore throat, and I feel so much better! Thanks Mergie

I had strep one time (didn't know it) and it apparently spread throughout my body. Noticed one week at work that every my hands were cramping after using an air file for a couple of minutes, I've done this for years and it's never bothered me. My grandpa had rumatoid arthritis so I figured I was getting it, 28 at the time. I went through next week and got checked. Blood test came back as strep in my body. Before the results every joint in my body started hurting and I went down fast. Took a shot of something and some antibiotics and I was good to go a week or two later.
