    Default Got a New Truck

Rides better. Unquestionably better. Less noise. Better mileage. More power.

KRT took the old 295 17 mud monsters off of my 95 Dodge and put on some 265 17 AT type rubber. A huge improvement. Tires balance now. Damn quiet. I don't feel every crack in the SC roads.

When I got this thing it came with some mud grapplers that were a torture to drive. Changing to some more subdued mud grips were an improvement. But these AT's are the shitz. I got a new truck.

KRT didn't do shit, he never does. It's always his slaves what do the work.

A/T tires are the shit, I like the Cooper Discovery line. Great highway ride and still pulls moderate mud and sand.

I've got the ST Maxx tires on my truck. They're extremely quite and will roll through some mud and apparently have good tread life. I've put right around 15k miles so far.

I've got 48,000 on my Bfg A/Ts and still have over half tread left. My next set will be Nitto trail grapplers though because the A/Ts gum up to much in mud.

BFG A/T's do fine for me. Good wet weather traction, last a long time, ride good.

What? You have received a hat or visor? I always figured that was an urban legend.

Had a set on my '13 Ram, nothing we did would keep the vibration from coming, weight balance or beads. Swapped for some Nitto Terra G2's and it was night and day. Next set I get on the '16 is going to be the Nitto Ridge Grappler I believe. I still got about 20K left in the Terra's though.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I'll have to go outside and look. Kevin asked what I wanted the tires for, I told him, he did it. I trusted him. Lablunker will kill me for that.

I have had BFG AT on a jeep before and they did well. They sure as hell should for that price.

Another thing, without spacers, lifts and such, this 2500 was set up for 225's at the factory. Those 295s rubbed enough that my frame stayed polished. That crap is gone now too

I have about 50k on my ST Maxx's without a lick of trouble from them. They do get a little noisier as they get worn. Prob get 55k out of them which isn't bad for a 3/4 ton diesel. Prob going to go to something a little more aggressive next since I don't have to drive the highway miles as much anymore.
