    Default Aluminum building-shop-garage plans

Finally got my clearing done and have my concrete guy locked in. I am looking for a metal building contact. I'd like it to be 30x30 with lean to off side for kennel run and have a carport type cover on the front. Two bays. Who is my go to company for this. There is a ton of companies to choose from and I don't have the time to call all of them. Thanks in advance.

I started out planning to spend $12k. I quit counting at $20k. Lol. I contracted it myself, probably would have been better to just get a big company to do a turn key job.

If i were going to spend this much change on a garage/shed, i would go ahead and get fiberglass doors for the interior, about 100 dollars more or so per door, and its probably only couple doors

I would think that an aluminum building would be stupid expensive. Might want to go with steel.

Call Howard Boone at (803) 331-5176. He is not far from you. He just put one up for me and I was very pleased with his work. He pays a lot of attention to detail, which is unusual based on the other buildings that I looked at. I bought the metal package from Smithbuilt on Rosewood Drive in Columbia. They have a unique metal truss with no bottom chord. That let me put a 14' tall door in the gable end of a building with 12' eaves and a loft in the other end. The lumber came from Oswald. I added a 16" overhang all the way around. Feel free to PM for more details. And yes, you will want steel, not aluminum.

Gladly. I have some during construction and will try to get a couple tomorrow if I'm home during daylight. I am finishing electrical myself and do not have permanent power yet. I am putting in a separate service and have to get an inspection before Tricounty will set the meter - even for an ag building.

I am going to run power myself as well. Lights outlets etc. I have to run separate power from the house but my box will be close. I will run water myself too. Got everything mapped out as to how it should look and dimensions.

$20k for that? I sure hope there's a lot more that picture isn't showing.
