Thanks for the offer guys but I don't have the funds at the moment to buy a 25,000 truck outright haha but seems to be a lot of Ford lovers.. they must have really turned their production around cause I've a ton of horror stories coming from Ford owners

100 ford owners and 5 have problems. You're gonna hear thr 5 owners problems 100% of the time.

Switched from Chevrolet 1500 (252,000 mi on it in 11yr) to a F150 5.0 that I've put 60k on with no issues thus far.

I love the room and the ride of the Ford compared to the Chevrolet.

    Thank you for your service.

This! I had Chevrolet problems. And I have tried to talk myself into trading several times and don't. The F150 is roomy and comfortable and fun. Thank you for your service!

I vote chevy all the way. If only 5 out of 100 Ford owners have problems, im one unlucky mother fucker. I'm all 5 at once

How would you compare the chevy 5.3 to the newer 5.0 from ford. I know it has more power and torque but what about reliability.

What are you using it for? I've got a Tundra and is plenty roomy enough in the front seat for a guy your size. I just have one of the more basic versions though and I'm not pulling anything large. I think that the Tundra's are the most "bang for the buck". I'm on my second one and never really had any issues with the first.

    I lease mine.

I'd still say 5.3. 5.0 is strong motor for sure. LS motors are proven and probably the best small block to ever be made

Tundras are nice until you tow something. I got 7.4 mpg pulling a 21 foot boat to West Palm Beach the other week. Thank goodness it had the 38 gallon tank and I stopped around a 1/4 tank to top off.

    I've been getting 17.7 around town in a 15 f150 5.0 4 door 4x4 with leveling kit and 34's.

I was around the same numbers as the GM before the tires and level.
