Never had an issue with my Franchi. Cycles everything I've put in it and shoulders great. I think I got mine around $700 or so and couldn't imagine what any gun could offer that would double the price.

Seeing these soulless vanilla ice lookin Yankees on a bassboat is worse than watching a woman get her implants taken out. It's just wrong. Get back in your Lund and go back to infisherman.

I could never change, maybe it’s mental, instead I just keep collecting H&K M1s or SBEs, I have one nice one, the rest get thrown around like decoys.
As far as reliability, hard to beat a benelli. I beat the ever living hell out of mine, don’t clean them and the barrel is solid rust red right now, as it is every season. Sure I have to replace springs that rust and break every 4-5 years from continuous saltwater but that’s just part of it.

However, I see many switching to the inertia style system like the new Remington or the new A5, they seem reliable from what I have seen.
You couldn’t pay me to own a gas operated shotgun, that be like owning a boykin.

    Gas guns are for pussies.

Inertia guns are for growed ass men that don't mind recoil and don't like to clean their guns.

I would buy an older 1187 before I bought a new one. Not sure I would buy anything new from Remington right now.

Seemed like a good deal to me.

They might be cheap but I have an old Stoeger m2000 that I beat the living crap out of and it keeps on ticking. I almost never clean it and for some reason it refuses to rust. I'm trying to decide between an M2, SBE2 or an A400 before next season.

I actually had an m2000 too and shot about 8,000 rounds thru it. Sold it still going when I got the a400

I wish I knew the amount of rounds I have through mine, the kicks high flyer in it is almost completely silver from shooting it.
