Here's what's left...I'm always looking for and expecting a Common Goldeneye. Until yesterday I would have put an SC Common Eider in the "some real luck" category.

    The easier ones:

    1) Common Goldeneye,
    2) Black-bellied Whistling Duck,
    3) Old Squaw,

The ones that'll take some real luck:

    4) Common Merganser,
    5) Cinnamon Teal,
    6) Fulvous Whistling Duck,

    Nearly Impossible:

    7) King Eider,
    8) Barrow's Goldeneye,

    And, Illegal:

    9) Harlequin Duck,

This is why "your list" should be modified to be 31 instead of the NA List of 32.

The number (32) with the NA List doesn't include the two "illegal" species that are native. There are some rumors I'm hearing that one of those two may just be opened back up with some pretty heavy restrictions! Even if it is reopened it would still be virtually impossible to go hunt them due to their very limited migration and access to huntable location(s).

Spectacled? Haha - you might have to spend more time in the Arctic.

If I get a photo of a harli in the decoys I'm counting it.

One other thing on "The List" and then I'll shut up......

There's a new "organization" that has now jumped on this whole craze. They are trying to cash in on the accomplishment by registering your Waterfowl "Grand Slam". What's funny though is they don't even require the individual to finish, or collect every species on "the list". It's crazy what they are charging folks that want to do this and in my opinion it's a bit overboard.

Here's link to the site if you're interested in reading about it.

If you google search Waterfowl Slam you will also find a few other sites that are virtually doing the same thing. I think even Cabelas and/or the Dallas Safari Club is even in on the craze.

    Correct

As for the Harlequin photo - if you get one you absolutely should count it!

    Keep 'em coming.

Just saw this picture on Facebook as well.

Have you done anything to secure the dividers to the bottom of those Rogers bags? I never had any tangles, but a bufflehead decoy or a line would manage to work its way into another slot every now and then, and it really got to my OCD. that and the poorly draining bottom are my qualms with their bags.
