    Default Wateree HP Draw Hunt

    Got a hunt there wed...anyone been there this year? if so how does it look?

    Seeing as Wednesday is the first hunt there this year I'm pretty sure this is the only answer you'll get. Good luck tho!

    the results are posted from the hunt during the first split.

    I didnt look at it long but, as I recall, it was just a few summer ducks.
    Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.

    average of 5.7 ducks a hunter though and we just got a decent push of birds last week.

    Those ponds are small - it's exceptionally easy to whack 3 wood ducks and 3 teal or ringnecks within 5 min. It's a pass shoot, maybe a half dozen ringneck decoys if DNR left the middle hole still open.

    Be careful - there is one hell of a ditch through the middle (may have bridges now that it's WMA.)
    Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
