    Default Around the world

My younger brother and one of his friends are in the final stages of preparing to sail around the world. They are going to have constant updates if you want to follow their travels.

Good luck and safe travels to them.

How long does that take to prepare for?

They bough the boat a year or so ago. They have re rigged the whole boat, through hulls, new generator, built their own ro water system, it's been a process. They have had to take some time to get all their safety equipment and they just bought their dingy which should be the last piece.

    Good luck!

This seems like a monumental task.

What a cool trip. I love seeing guys go do shit like this before they get old. I'll have to keep up with their adventures online. Give us an update on here from time to time so we don't forget please. And tell those boys to be careful...mother ocean is a mother fucker sometimes.

I believe these fellas need a pat on the back. If they would like to start a gofund me page for their hookers when they stop at port I will gladly donate.

    That's pretty incredible.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

I'd like to hear more about their planned route and anticipated timing on the route.

I had a guy come by the office a few months ago named Reid Stowe. He holds the record for the longest sea voyage 1152 days at sea without going to shore. He had some of great stories from his travels, said he sailed around cape horn 3 times and sailed every ocean.

This Millennial generation isn't interested in stability. They want adventure and experiences and life fulfillment (their definition anyway). This is quite an exciting and dangerous trip. Good luck to the both of them.

They need some type of satellite connection and a web page where we can check their progress. Sort of like the tele-tags on sharks.
