    Default Smoked Bird

    I threw a bird on the BGE this morning . I wasn't happy the skin tore on one leg but it turned out great.

    It taste great but skin is tough. I think next time I'll will take it off a little early and drop it in grease to crisp skin.

    I didn't take any pics. Fried my bird this morning. Why my MIL thinks we need a freak'n 25lb bird is beyond me. That's hell in a pot and you can throw the 3 minutes per pound crap out the window.

    My dad has been smoking turkeys my whole life. Crap little brinkman smokers that always get the job done. He only does the breasts and it honestly turns out better this way. One of my favorite things about he holidays.
