    Default Turkey

Can I get some calculations and additions on frying an 11 pounder? Got to stink the grease one for Thursday. It has been many a year since I have. I have some Yankees that want me to "deep fat fry" one as they call it north of the M/D line.

If any of you are working on an Orion, it's 7min/lb.

went to cabelas store in garner n.c. to see a grilling and frying demo on turkeys last week. the rule is 3.5 mins per lb. at 350 degrees. they rubbed the bird with veg oil, injected bird with cajun butter, then rubbed it with cajun shake. then fried. this was the best turkey I've ever tasted

That combo is the best- smoke it with Apple wood instead of frying.
