    Cook extra and freeze it in portion bags you can heat up when you want something easy.

    Catering rule of thumb is 1/3-1/2 pound of meat per person.

    So 30-45 lbs of cooked meat.

    with a 9 pound butt I figure you're looking at 7.5 lbs of cooked meat.

    6 orta do it. I'd do 7 just to be safe.
