This bird was not that big, he had a 6" beard,
probably a two year old, but we got the whole hunt on video.

i think SW was noting the discrepancy in the tail feather length....and he is right. still, pretty turkey, pretty pic, and some ugly dude in the middle....bwahahaahhhaa

You know I had thought the same thing, the right side of his tail was almost fully developed but his left side was not. I thought he was a big jake with a 6' beard but a buddy of mine said he was probably 2 years old, but I know one thing for sure, that ol boy sure did taste good.
