    Well... New model is what I expected.. gonna be a long weekend on the coast.. people loose their shit if the power goes out down here.. or if we have to close a bridge..

    New models are still going west. Most recent GHS model has a 'glancing blow' eye landing around or just north of charleston then it will go slightly back east and ride the coast up to NC. All models are pretty much showing some type of landing south of the southern part of NC. Hope it changes!

    Worst part for wherever this thing comes ashore may be the surge. Especially with how many of the SC inlets/bays face somewhat to the south. If it comes up the coast, it will be pushing a lot of water up them. Midday Saturday seems to be when it will be along our coast, hopefully the tides won't match up with it.

    We lost our beach house at IOP to Hugo but built it back, guess now we may see HOW well it was built back.

    Saturday, 3pm, eye @ Chucktown. Sustained winds here of ~35.

    Of course, their colors don't make much sense on this one. They show purple as 40mph. Umm...that's as far as their color spectrum runs.
