    My wife and I got bear tags for Horry county. Anyone got any pointers on this subject?

    Neither the boy or I were drawn.

    Find a peanut field close to the Waccamaw, Little Pee Dee, or Lumber Rivers.

    Swamps along the Waccamaw river usually hold a good many bears. Socastee and Carolina Forest usually has a good bear population as well.

    They are attracted to anything of monetary value you may leave in the woods that you wouldnt like to be destroyed.
