    Default Aftermarket Stereos

I've been kicking around buying a touch screen stereo with blue tooth, navigation, and back up camera for my aging Tundra to make it feel newer and hold back the buy a new truck bug.

I'm checking out ebay but am a little cautious because of knockoffs and such. Any suggestions for vendors?

Go by your stereos shops and ask if they have demos for sale. With full warranties.

Can't go wrong with Pioneer or Alpine. Stay away from the cheap knock off stuff.

New tundra crewmax has 38 gallon tank now even though it is not all useable which is nothing new. That's enough to get many tundra owners attention, new radio is ok as well, standard back up camera after 2014.

Sorry for the derail, complete opposite of what you asked.

    That's the 2 year plan. An 8'er.

And yes, that 38 gallon tank caught my attention, and is why I am trying to make myself stay happy for another two years.

I bought a pioneer unit for my main truck ... GPS, XM, backup camera, BT, etc.

KRT hooked it up, think it was around $600 all in. I also added the system that let me keep my steering wheel controls. That was 2 years ago, probably cheaper now. I usually buy through Crutchfield or Amazon.

    Pioneer

Let the local wiggers at the car audio place do the install. It's usually pretty cheap and painless compared to trying to do that shit yourself.

I've always been a Pioneer guy until my last few builds and started using Alpine's high end stuff. These are made to fit your truck without loosing factory controls or looks.

Also the Android based units are great if you don't need FM radio.

I know where a 2010 crew cab duramax is that will pull anything you put behind it.
