Make sure you silicone inside around bolts under the washer to. Dont get stingy with it. You can come back and wipe it off to your liking.

I like the white tube Lexel or boat life life caulk for sealant

Looks good, I'm working on a high tide as well and I'm trying to decide what weight fiberglass tape to put the stringers back in with, what weight did you use? Yours looks like it's 6" wide as well? Anything you would change in regards to the stringer installation looking back?
    Thanks

I used epoxy and 12oz cloth and 6” tape for almost everything. Except the transom, I used 17oz. That’s what most of the guys on the bateau site use for their wooden boats. Lots of info on there if you haven’t checked it out.
Only thing I did different with the stringers was put cleats on both sides, creating an I beam, so more surface area to glue the floor to. I decided not to put the pedestal seat back in the floor like it was, that’s where a lot of the water got in. Every hole in this boat will be sealed up tight this time

Yeah I used 1708 on the transom. I'm getting most of my materials from uscomposites.com and for some reason they only have 8.7 Oz tape so I'm trying to decide if that will suffice. Thanks for the help

I used 2 layers of tape. You could probably get by with that light cloth in multiple layers. I’ve learned the hard way that the lighter cloth goes way easier over rounded corners

Well if it ain’t one thing it’s another. Just when I thought I could see the finish line. Pulled the old carpet and ply off the seat lid and realized it was cut on both ends, held together with silicone and wood screws so of course the wood core is rotten. Had planned on just putting another piece of ply on bottom but it won’t hold a screw.
Oh well time to break out the grinder .... again

Looks great, I'm thinking about doing a similar color scheme on mine. You decide to add some vertical supports inside the hull?

Yep, mostly to attach stuff to. Still got a few things to add. Cup holders, rod holders, and such
