    The idea of shooting a 58 is just crazy to me.

    Hell of a 4 man team captains choice score. One man doing it by himself on a PGA Tour course is crazy. Granted, it was a par 70 and not a par 72.

    Don't matter.... A 58 is a 58.

    And this wasn't the first time in PGA tour history that a course was a par 70, so there has been thousands of chances for someone to post 58 and no one had done it previous.

    Not Hogan, Jones, Player, Nicklaus, Palmer, Woods...

    Agreed. Just read where his playing partner wrote down the wrong score for Furyk on a hole. He did realize it later, and changed it. Furyk's 58 could have been for nothing if he had signed a wrong score card.
