Any place in the Columbia area that carries it?

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I've ordered it from here before. I'm hardly a connoisseur of the stuff, but it satisfied my craving.

I also found some boudin recipes for the list of things that I'll never have time to do...

SR - go to The Lost Cajun restaurant and order some boudin balls. You may also check with them about selling you some in bulk.

    The "real deal"

I haven't had any in years, but this thread gave me a hankering for some.

I've got some from the back of an Old Timey, the one over here. I think in the past they've ordered some between the stores and split them up. It wasn't on display or anything. I've eaten a bunch of them, I like the kind Tom brings on dove shoots. I even had this cajun couple that lived here for a while, they'd all get together when family came up and make big batches, the past batch i got was ripe, good still. There's one that it seems like everybody recommends or has before on here. I'm sure there's a thread, or someone will chime in.

They have the commercial stuff Ralph is talking about at old timey. Bottom shelf with the other frozen sausages. It's ok in a pinch. I know where to get some that's pretty good.
