I rode past that two weeks ago. It's between Las Vegas, NV and Barstow, CA. When the sun is bright in the middle of the day, you can see an inverted cone that is the light coming from the array of mirrors. The boiler tower is too bright to look at. The black part in the pictures looks like a chunk of the sun. The mirror array looks like the surface of a lake.
