    On those dormers and side walls with hardee or Masonite or any other wood siding that was run to close to the shingles and absorbed water, pop you a line and cut that crap back. Turn you some ice and water up the wall, step flash it and make you some straight sidewall counter flashing. I think it looks good and you ain't gotta worry about any more maintenance. Same goes with rock chimneys
