35 and 40’ headers are nice but damn unhooking so much! We have so many small fields that’s it’s not worth it. If I were up around mayesville or either in Calhoun County with all that wide open irrigated ground then a 40’ head would be nice. I farm plenty of patches still best suited for a 13’ header!

Yeah, anything over 30 ft is definitely going to cause some logistical issues.

Seems all the big patches my direction are getting planted in solar panels. Wont need anything but an orchard tractor and mower.

Basically a quick marinade in eyetalian, slice of onion, slice of Mallard wrapped in bacon. Grilled on a pit boss at 350 for 30 or so minutes.

Put a butt on early this morning before church. My first attempt at one so any suggestion for improvement are welcome.
Flavor was good, but I think I can do better next time

As it was resting in foil I told Jake to hunt’em up. Made three trees in less than 30min and knocked out two squirrels

Had a pot of skull soup cooking this afternoon as well

My first attempt at Scotch eggs. My wife had some boiled eggs in the fridge, and I had some sausage. The were pretty good. Next ones I do, I'll use soft boiled eggs, and some fancier mustard.
