Best part of the meal besides my bride was 2th popping in and hanging out with us for a little bit. I still can't be convinced of a steak house being worth it.

DC, I have come to the conclusion that you eat better than anybody on here. That plate looks fantastic.

    It was on point.

There was about a pound of fatback dropped in the grease to “season it” before the fish were fried. Santee catfish nuggets and whole fried bream. I probably ate 9 or 10 of those bone-in bream. The old man that was sitting beside me chuckled when I started eating the tails on the two fish in that picture. He tapped on the shoulder and said “ son, there’s plenty more fish up at the table, you don’t have to eat it bones and all”

Lots of firsts for our friends from North Dakota who came to visit. So far its been grits, pimento cheese, po boys and smoked bologna. Caught their first trout, flounder, sheepshead. Fish fry tonight. Been a good time hosting them and thankful for the friends that have helped out.

Streakolean is a favorite, but don't eat it much anymore. You should come to the club when the Redbreast fishing get hot. We wear em out. Great looking meal indeed.

Ha, they wouldn't leave the hunting/fishing they have in North Dakota for anything.
