I have a few boxes of them at the home garden, like normal, didn't plant anything much but sweet corn at the farm. I typically just do tomatoes, herbs, maybe some stuff in the squash family, then I'm doing some watermelons at the house too, small heirlooms.

The biggest thing I've found over my years is lime is important for tomatoes.. last year I had ripe maters into November, no hot house

I thought I'd be pulling figs off of the trees I planted this year.. until last week, the deer decided they liked those too, and all of the leaves. I have everything wrapped now. I'm working with a spray now too, I'm not looking at that shit every day. All of my little tomatoes, sweet small ones, I let grow all vine like. I bet you could stretch out some over twelve feet. One corner of the garden, anything that grew over got gone. They also took down all but one raspberry.. but my blueberries are still standing.

Well looks like I am going with box's next year as we built one and even though my mater plants are 6-7 feet tall they don't have nothing on the little box one's. Tater You been here a few times Hint, Hint BAAAAAAAA

I just always add something to my soil every year, and might rotate. The boxes hold them in better, to be honest I've got all sand land where I built. I'm not really used to that. I thought raised beds would be better and look better. I've been building a pretty cool little area back there, just need to finish it o e day when it cools of with some more zoysia.. I've almost sprigged it all in, then fight back the deer. When we cleared for the house I built a little road, and cleared enough for this garden site. It's taken a few years to get it kinda close to what I want

That was in yellowstone and Shoshone. We couldn't have gotten luckier with the timing, between Jackson airport closed, the north entrances closed, and the license plate system, once you got off the old faithful loop, there was literally no one there.
