    Default Huk Performance Fishing Bassmaster Elite at Winyah Bay in Georgetown

    It should be interesting! If any of y'all make it this week/weekend, I'll be around the Huk trailer most afternoons.

    I heard some guys are planning on going to Cooper river. If true, that's about 100 miles one way!

    Friend of mine saw a team practice fishing up behind his house in Andrews. I have heard of some running up to the lower lake from Georgetown.

    All the way to the lower lake? That's a freaking haul! I figured most would go up the black and maybe waccamaw

    The Pee Dee, Waccamaw, and Black rivers are way up from the recent rains. I betting all will fish up the Santee river or go to the Cooper river.

    I don't believe they allow locking up to Lake Moultrie.

    From the Info Sheet;
    TOURNAMENT WATERS
    Winyah Bay/PeeDee River Basin and all rivers, creeks and canals connecting to the
    Winyah Bay/PeeDee River Basin. Only that water open to ALL public fishing will be
    considered tournament waters. Any waters closed to public fishing will be closed to this
    tournament’s contestants. NO LOCKING. South Carolina water only.

    Good job on finding the rules. I didn't know and didn't care if they could. I was just going off what I was told.

    Fished the Cooper this morning and talked to several. Probably 12 to 15 of them up there. They all say everyone is fishing the Cooper
    Seeing these soulless vanilla ice lookin Yankees on a bassboat is worse than watching a woman get her implants taken out. It's just wrong. Get back in your Lund and go back to infisherman.

    I was told the majority are going to cooper, a handful going up North Santee River, and the rest spread out from little pee dee to the waccamaw. The water is about right on little pee dee but not quite. However, the waccamaw just turned on!

    If most are going to the Cooper then the ICW will be like a drag strip.

    Big Pee Dee is heating up also.....the oxbow lakes are clearing up and the bass are moving to the trees.

    Could be some big sacks if the weather will hold!!
