    Power Tech scd3 in 14 pitch. That's a starting point. Get it from Dan's Discount Prop and if you want another pitch send it back for like $30 and he'll send you a different one.

    If speed isn't your biggest concern go with the scd4 one pitch lower. It'll take some off your top end but the boat will likely turn better, jump on plane quicker and be better on fuel due to less prop slip.

    Have you pulled the restrictor out of the intake?

    I have not. I know you can do it on the older F50's but I haven't heard anything about the new ones.

    I had a 13 pitch powertech on mine. Think it was an scb3. Tried the 14 and it was a dog on takeoff. I like a boat with better holeshot than top end but that's just me.

    hit high 30's with one prop on the little 25 but only good for one man. I had some carb issues i think i finally got straighted out so i can fiddle with it some now

    Gotcha. And yours is the 542. I still need to work on props.
