either way this dude bought this truck to make it look mean and it does look mean... but it just aint mean. If his ass was in Meeks and it was raining that truck would be as uselsess as a sack fulla dicks.

The Toyota/Cummins package has been in the works for awhile. Nothing is set in stone yet...

    KRT,
What's your thoughts on how the Tacoma's will last long term?

I personally like the 4.0 better.

Not a fan of the 3.5 and I own one......

    Any specific questions?

Interior is nicer than past ones. New one is just geared toward mpg. Makes more hp, but needs more rpm to get it going.

What can you tow with the V6? I got a 5X10 enclosed trailer that I have to haul to upstate several times a year. That is really my only concern versus the Tundra

Thatll pull fine. I pulled a 16x8 enclosed trailer full of furniture etc over 1k miles. Mpg was about 8tho

    4dr 4wd v6 with tow pkg is rated for 6600 I believe.

Mpg would suck towing I imagine. For the moment I'm getting 21 mpg commuting. Soon as it gets to KRT that's going to change though.

Sounds good, mileage not big issue since I will only tow that trailer a 6-8 times a year. Mainly just boat commuting back and forth. Tacoma sounds like the plan

I tow my 19ft Carolina Skiff with my 07. Its a V6 with a 6 speed manual 4x4 double cab. It sucks gas when pulling the skiff though.
