I still haven't figured out whether it is a cat or a wooly mammoth snout...

I've seen several jons in 40 foot, and used to see one every so often at a 60.

I remember when Fish's younger brother first started guiding, he was in a large jon boat. Disremember what kind, but it was his first one in what was to become a pretty impressive fleet. He went with Laine down the beach to a rock off the white point swash. I was fishing the jetties that afternoon. He pulled up beside me, opened his fish bag and had a pile of smoker kings. Pulled them out one at a time. I dont think I had seen anyone that happy before or since.

Y’all need to read about the 12 year old kid who won 35k out of ocean isle this past weekend in an 18ft boat, 52lbs. He wanted to go by himself but his parents made him take there boat mechanic buddy just in case.

They described a kingfish tournament as “prestigious”.

    Good for the kid!

Probably dropped on his head when he was a baby. Everything after that is termed "cause and affect".

He was one crazy MF'er though. Right up there with Benny.
I always enjoyed the threads where they got fired up, some classic SCDucks moments IMO.
