I'm going to make a killing on the inshore slam flags. I will sell them like hotcakes at the Angler and Haddrells.

    Check.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Make sure you make a southern flounder and a summer flounder flag.

Facebook has replaced flags as the mode of telling everyone how awesome you are.

Agreed! Every jack leg that fishes every other decade parades their few offshore success on FB like it's going out of style.

Let's hear your Marlin stories loud - what did he eat? How many knots were you "dragging"? Did the mate hook the fish and let you reel him in? Were you on a boat with the name "reel" in it and did you have to add more 2stroke oil before you hit the jetties?

Haha what are you implying here? You can keep flying your flags. I'm not trying to take them away.

By the way biggest Marlin I've ever caught ate a wahoo bait on steel.

You are full of shit kid. Having to hand someone your beer while you push flags up the outright is a fine feeling. If you have caught a marlin, it was on a boat that had no flags, due to the in frequency of the need for them.

I'm with loud on this one. The flag is nothing more than a hey look at me symbol as you pull into the harbor. Serves the same purpose as an orange safety come in the back of a squating pick up truck.

I don't see how you could hang a status symbol like that and then turn around and make fun of boates that are named "reel..." Or someone who has a salt life sticker.
