    Ok....

So this car had a 90k price tag in 2011. This body style ran from 2009 to current and same drivetrain through out the production. It's a twin turbo V8. Well like the DOD on Chevrolet these cars burn a quart every 750 miles and smoke like a freight train. Valve stem seals go bad at about 80k miles. You have to pull the engine. So here are a few pic's....

Best thing I've ever done involving cars, is talking my wife into getting rid of her bmw.

    So Camo,

I'd rather do one of these a week than a ride pimp job. I have 2 more in line to do that are on my lot waiting.

How come you didn't put that last bolt in? Extra or job security?
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

    That sucks.

A quick google search before you buy a car like that will tell you all kinds of good stuff…….or hit the bimmer forums. Of course if you are dropping $90K on a car, most folks don't give a shit.

Pulled the head because of a stripped plug. Put a time sert in. Normally we do them on car without pulling heads. But to answer your question, I use Honeycutts in Lex.

He did some BBC 632 brodix heads for me years ago. He was a nice guy. Most of that shit my way goes to par or Fulton. Mintz does my diesel stuff and a local guy does the easy stuff.
