Having two 3 day affirmative action hunts allowing gunpowder would control the deer population.

Would those hunts take away from your Buck tags?

Because if you want your deer population to grow, you don't shoot does?

    Is that right?

What about the farmer that has five or six tracts of land ranging in size from 100 acres to 500 acres, and none of them touching?

And by archery I assume you don't mean that crossbow crap. Those will be relegated to the women, children, and old people.

Well men with proof of a prescription for estrogen could use crossbows.

Yeah then we'll have flat brims wounding even more deer with bows bc they're trying to make up for the deer they can't kill with a rifle. I swear I hear more people talk about sticking a deer with a bow but not being able to find it. A lot of the time these people don't even feel bad about it, they just chalk it up as "hey that's bow hunting bo." You'll also have more people shooting scrub bucks and justifying it as "yeah it's only a six but it's a good bow kill," an argument I've never understood.

Those that "stick" deer are using mechanical broadheads. You don't hear the slick tricks or heavy cut on contact crowd needing a tracking dog.

But to be fair there will be a lot more dogs available for tracking. Assuming they don't turn them all loose.

...IN PURSUIT OF A DEER THAT HAS IDENTIFIABLE OWNER INFORMATION...

Whaaa?? Some deer have identifiable owner information?

Without speaking to the merits or shortcomings of the idea behind this bill, I suggest that the authors get the language clarified. Can our schoolchildren be expected to write Standard English if our legislators can't?

Those who hunt with a bow are flaming liberals and need to move to California or Chicago! Our independence wasn't won with no damn stick and string. You see what it did for the Indians!

Indians were better hunters than the white man with his rifle.

We were better marksmen and woodsmen than the Yankees but we still lost the war due to antiquated equipment.
