    Default Dutch Oven Peach Cobbler

Adjust recipe for quantity. There are also videos for making a bare essentials peach cobbler in a smaller Dutch Oven for camping using nothing but a can of peaches, butter and cake mix. You can cook a good cobbler with only 28 charcoal briquets.

    Here's one that sounds interesting.

I was sitting here on my deck watching that second video and I heard a bobwhite rooster call "somewhere in the woods" out back. I immediately stopped the video and sat here for 15 minutes hoping to hear him call again. Sadly that's how rare it's gotten.

I knew it was an odd time of the year to hear a bob make that full "bob-white" call but I was just glad to hear it. I never heard it again but I still felt good that there was one in the woods somewhere around the house.

Then I started watching the video again and dang if it wasn't coming from the video!

Start the video at 10:50 and turn up the volume.
