Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

I've been fishing in feeder creeks when one of those big bastard cargo ships comes by a little too fast. The displacement they make will suck all the water out of the smaller creeks as it rushes to fill the void. It's the damndest thing and a bit of a helpless feeling. Just as fast as the water goes out, it comes rushing back in. A friend of mine captains one of those ships and while I don't remember the numbers he said, the amount of water those damn things displace when underway is incredible.Originally Posted by USMCsilver
