    Default Too Close For Comfort

The Elites don't fear the tall nails, government possesses both the will and the means to crush those folks. What the Elites do fear (or should fear) are the quiet men and women, with low profiles, hard hearts, long memories, and detailed target folders for action as they choose.

It's your own damn fault if that big bastard gets too close for comfort.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

I've been fishing in feeder creeks when one of those big bastard cargo ships comes by a little too fast. The displacement they make will suck all the water out of the smaller creeks as it rushes to fill the void. It's the damndest thing and a bit of a helpless feeling. Just as fast as the water goes out, it comes rushing back in. A friend of mine captains one of those ships and while I don't remember the numbers he said, the amount of water those damn things displace when underway is incredible.
