There's no doubt that Daybo is an endearing coach. But to justify his rants as good old fashioned warranted ass chewings and Frank Martin and Muschamps as maniacal ranting is ridiculous. But it suits your current dogma, so whatever. Let's all remember this when the reckoning comes for Daybo. Like a few years ago when you all wanted him gone? Along with Joey Batson? Remember that? There'll come a time when all of Daybo's show will be seen for what it really is. But he's already told you it won't be anytime soon, so that's what we'll go with. Just stay classy Clemmers!

It is truly mindboggling how you guys can spin things when it suits you. So Daybo can chew some ass when need be? Does 3 different times and then singling the kid out on national TV constitute and ass chewing, or is it to let everyone know that I was not the one that called a fake punt? You remember? 2011 after that event in Florida that spawned the word we're not supposed to ever say. Daybo was either head or part of a staff that had lost 5 out 6 bowls and was basically staying afloat by beating the usual suspects in the league. I remember it. "our coaches just don't teach toughness" "Joey Batson's ideas are antiquated and we're getting pushed around daily". "Daybo needs to just shut up and coach" hell even Ford was getting back in the conversation. It'll happen again. It always does.

I remember every clemson fans feeling those days about Dabo. Good for him he used the negative comments and got to work and put together a good staff and recruited his butt off.
