Miss your posts. Glad to see your doing well and killing birds. How was the fishing this summer?

KRT.....650,000 surveyed in IL north of I 70 on Tuesday. Way above the ten year average for this time of year. Might want to wait for some weather.

We where suppose t leave this morning and hunt for 5 days but cancelled lastnight due to hot weather. High for 4 days is 75 and lows in the 60's. Saving the days for january hopefully.

    Per AGFC..

"Temperatures over the next several days will be well above normal for this time of year, with forecast high temperatures reaching into the 70s later this week and this weekend. Warmer weather to the north likely will delay major migration movements of ducks into the state."

    I would stay home too

We cancelled as well. Suntan lotion and duck hunting don't excite me at all.

And some of you wonder why people from Arkansas stereotype people from SC as they do. Some poor local who has been sitting on a small pocket of ducks at Clarendon will now be run over by every yuppie SC college boy with daddy's money all because they read something on the internet. First day they hear the shooting. Second day they set up downwind 100 yards. Third day they spend the night in the spot some guy has been killing a few in because of all his hard work scouting and finding one small isolated patch of ducks.
If you do not think social media and SC idiots can ruin a spot in AR look back a few years to what happened at Dagmar. 40 to 400 boats in two days, half from SC.
Y'all would raise mortal hades if someone mentioned a landing in SC but don't blink at mentioning someplace out of state.
Believe it or not, but there are 100 idiots in SC who would drive 11 hours because they read it on the internet. They do it every year.
Become one with nature then marinate it.
