    Default Surf Fishing

Ok fellas, my father in law is coming for a week long visit at the end of December and he's an experienced surf fisherman...I am not. Main reason of course is to visit the gran kids but he mentioned that he'd like to go fishin. I need some help on where to take him. Gotta admit that I spend more time in the woods than on the water so I'm not real versed in saltwater fishing but I want him to catch a few fish and have a good time. Thanks for the help!

There are good spots on Edisto, Folly, Sullivans and IOP...All are about 45 minutes away. If he's experienced he'll know what to look for. Me personally, I'd go to Edisto and fish the mouth of the sound.

Dogfish should be a plenty anywhere in the surf in December.

Washout to Morris Island. Just don't hook a surfer.
