    Default $400 at Cabelas

If you had $400 in gift cards to Cabelas, what do YOU buy? It's going to be something I would not normally buy for myself with cash.

    Things I'm considering:

RCBS or Hornady Reloader kit (is it worth it, which one?)
    Buying a gun
Adding some cash and buying a nicer/better gun (but what kind)

Give me something I have not thought of... I don't really fish a lot

Heard bass pro was buying them out at first of the year. Not sure if it will transfer to bass pro or not.

I do not currently own binocs, what's the best for that price range?

What about this little combo pack? http://www.cabelas.com/product/Bushn...bo/1229654.uts

Hadn't even considered that- that's something I want and definitely do not need... Good use of gift card funds for sure

That Hornady press kit has been getting some shit reviews on some of the reloading forums. Don't know if it's true or not but may want to research it some.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I have read mixed reviews for sure. I have found there to be more negative reviews about the Hornady progressive press, but folks seem to prefer the Hornady single-stage press to the RCBS and Lee.

I have never gotten into reloading, but it intrigues me.I really enjoy shooting big guns, really far, at little targets- factory ammo is expensive and not consistent, and it would be cool to kill something with a cartridge that I made. Like catching a trout on a fly you tied

$400 is a down payment on good Binocs.

If you buy reloading equipment , RCBS makes good stuff.

I'd really like to find a SCDucker that has everything needed to reload and just does not have the time and/or interest to do it any more. I would prefer buying quality, used equipment in good condition instead of a brand-new kit.

Camping gear? A Pelican suitcase (I wanted that badly the other day)? Handheld GPS? A year's supply of bison/elk/alligator jerky?

A buddy bought that pack recently. I haven't tried them out, but he likes it.

Yep. $400 worth of those is like doubling your money when you cross the county line.
