Default One proud deer and a consultation prize

This a buddy of mine that took up hunting last year. Wanted something to do instead being stuck in his crappy neighborhood all the time. Killed his first doves back in September and killed his first buck 2 weeks ago. I told him to shoot whatever he wanted for his first. He passed up several does, a couple young bucks and a 2-3 yr old 6pt that would've been a good first deer for this.......young deer but it was a stud rack for a first

Then a week later I was able to get a consultation prize for myself....175lbs

Both deer killed with AR 300 Blackouts. His went 40 yds with a front quartering shot and mine went 36" straight to the ground with a broke neck.

Nice killing. Are you shooting sub or supersonic ammo out of the 300?

    Nice, very nice.
