    Man Kevin is busy fixing shit so I will answer this one.... if it's not repaired by a dealership or factory sponsored/certified tech/business then it's out of warranty service.... not a real hard concept...

    Kevin ...... can 'Hill Assist' be deleted as well???

    I got a '12 ECSB Z71 (5.3 w/6spd) with 29,000 miles. Most of it towing. But that dang Hill Assist pi$$es me off!!!!!

    KRT- is running in M5 as good as deleting the AFM feature?

    When you're on an incline the truck automatically applies the brakes to keep you from rolling back and disengages when you start to drive forward. It's annoying when you're trying to inch forward in a tight spot and the brakes suddenly release

    From what I've read it can be turned off. I have not looked yet. What year truck did this option come out on?

    I have two 2011's to do today but I don't think hill assist was an option in 2011.

    I think it is a 13 and newer feature but I am not sure. It is a nice feature when pulling a boat up a ramp.

    I looked it up some yesterday i was reading it started with 14s or somewhere in there.

    There is a "hill descent" feature too and it started in 2014 I believe. I have a 13 and it has the hill assist feature on it but I am unsure on the year they started with it.

    It does. Cuts the MPG down some but no V4.
